I, along with millions of others, have jumped on the bandwagon every year and made resolutions. I have lists that state the following:
* I would stop biting my nails - at 8 years old this was a big deal
* Stop liking Chad Stanley- I kid you not, in my journal from 1988
* Study more- every year I was in high school- although I was quite the nerd
* Eat healthier and run 2 miles every day- I was a little fanatical a few years back
* Stop thinking about Greg proposing- I was obsessed for a little while and then I just stopped thinking about it- 5 days later we were engaged
This year, I have stated out loud to Greg ( and now to you my blog followers) the following:
* I am going to make a conscious effort to not overthink anything
* I am going to try to be a better wife, daughter, friend, human being, etc. There is always room for bettering oneself
* I am not going to flog myself when I give in to my sweet tooth- moderation people, moderation
* Lastly, I am going to laugh at least once a day, smile a lot more and embrace the craziness of the world without letting it get me down when times get rough
Cheers to you 2011!
Regarding this years goals......... I'd say you are a darn good friend, and I love your daily smile!
